Required:
Education Level: Undergraduate Degree
Industry Experience: 1 - 3 Years
Physical Requirements: Telephone Usage
Walking/Bending/Sitting
Sit/Stand minimum six to eight hours per day
Ability to sit of extended periods of time
Project Management Specialties: Project Deliverable Controller
Project Documentation
Project Plan Execution/Task Management
Written Communication: Legible Handwriting

Responsibilities:
• Assist the lead technical communicator in monitoring projects from
initiation through delivery.
• Assist core teams and other project managers within them, by representing
the Technical Communications piece of the overall program schedule.
• Create and maintain project schedules using tools such as MS Project.
• Provide support on special assignments/projects.
• Interface with company Translations regarding translation status of
various projects.
• Represent the Technical Communications department on various project core
teams.
• Work to break down roadblocks to project milestones.
• Oversee the Technical Communications schedules for all assigned projects.
• Serve as a liaison between the Technical Communications department and
other Diabetes functional groups.
Specialized Knowledge Required:
• Proficient in understanding and use of Microsoft Project.
• Strong language skills, including the ability to read communicate clearly
and effectively, and the ability to respond to common inquiries from
functional team members.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of
successfully driving projects to completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years project management experience
• PMP training OR certification through PMI
• Project management experience with Medical Device companies
• Basic understanding of ISO and FDA guidelines concerning Product
Development within the Medical Device industry
