Our client is looking for a *Senior Middleware Engineer / Web Engineer – III ( Tibco ) - *Position reports to senior IT Manager.** * * *Must: Need senior resource with a total of 10 years experience with at least 6-7 years of relevant experience.* * * Location: Raleigh or Wilson, NC. Duration for 3 months - Likely to be extended to another 3 and possibility of becoming long term. Hourly rate: DOE Start Date: Immediate *Education:* Min. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering studies. * * · This is a *senior level middleware engineering position* where the person will be involved in the technical design, installation, configuration and maintenance of the Tibco Environment for the Integrated Test Environment (ITE), various different initiatives. · Individual will need to have an in depth knowledge of *SOA infrastructure* and best practices. · Individual will need have significant experience (greater than 6 years) in managing, implementing and monitoring Tibco infrastructure. · This individual will require in depth knowledge of Red hat scripting, Tibco RV, Tibco EMS, Tibco Administrator, Tibco BWEngine, Tibco Active Matrix, Tibco HAWK, Tibco UDDI Registry, Tibco Policy agent and Policy Manager, IBM Data power appliance and TibcoApp Deploy utility. *Key Responsibilities*: This position requires the ability to support, monitor, assess, and troubleshoot operations and application issues across the following areas: · Tibco RV, Tibco EMS, Tibco Business Works, Tibco Active Matrix, Tibco HAWK, Tibco UDDI Registry ,Tibco Policy Agent and Policy Manager, Tibco App Deploy utility , IBM Data power, Tibco Service Grid · Shell Scripting and automation of key components using Linux/unix scripting languages. · Solid experience in Tibco Administration specifically from a middleware perspective and scripting knowledge. · Greater than 5 years IT or SOA experience, preferably in a large IT organization · Working knowledge of Tibco – Ability to troubleshoot Tibco application or web services issues. · A positive attitude with an appetite for execution and delivering and beating deadlines · Need to work flexibly, responsibilities of position may require telephone contact at unusual hours.
