*Job Title: PeopleSoft Financial ConsultantLocation : Chicago ILDuration : 6+ Months with extensionNOTE : LOCAL ONLY!!!Technical Skills:* -Perform as liaison between global financial users & IT application & server support teams. Troubleshoot reported application functional issues concerning, users, all modules and batch and develop & apply mitigations. -Monitor the timely loading, editing, & posting of existing/new internal & external financial interfaces including ADP & market rates, compile status reports. Ensure Actuals & Actual USD ledgers are in balance. Manage the process for updating PeopleSoft summary ledgers. -Provide domestic & Latin America Level 1 support to General Ledger, Accts Payable, Cash Management, Accts Receivable, Billing, Asset Management, Expense, batch processing, security functions & Hub integration. Provide global Level 2 support for query & nVision. -Participate in financial system projects & module rollouts as requested by management and act as a liaison between finance and IT on those projects. Perform as user technical resource globally on application/module rollouts. -Maintain global Prod configuration documentation on all modules. Assist Corporate IT in system testing features & functions, disaster recovery, bundles & patches & rollouts. Oversee global disaster recovery. Provide issues log to management. -Work with management, the finance & treasury global user community to discuss & prioritize all PeopleSoft service requests & break/fix issues. Communicate user prioritizations to management & IT resource. Manage user testing, ensure formal user sign-off. -Create, maintain, & test Combo Edits globally for all TWG BU’s, chartfield, and trees. Develop complex edits as required by management to further control journal entries accuracy & improve overall financial process. -Develop material & train global users on all PeopleSoft modules functionality & country specific features. Create/maintain user test scripts for all modules features & functions, disaster recovery, updates & rollouts. Maintain PeopleSoft SharePoint site. -Implement, maintain, test, & secure approved modifications to new/existing financial chart field controls & related trees used in financial reporting. Update security workflow approvers in Lotus Notes Financial Value Maintenance (FVM) appl. -Manage & support security, create & maintain permission list & roles.
