Perform daily system monitoring, security monitory and backups. 2. Create, change, and delete user accounts per request. 3. Provide Tier I/other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. 4. Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies. *Maintenance* 1. Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning. 2. Perform ongoing performance tuning, software & hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required. *KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:* 1. Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science. *2. **Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Unix and Microsoft.* 3. Four to six years system administration experience. 4. Experience in administering physical and virtual machines, cloud infrastructure, source code configuration management, web servers, SQL and NoSQL databases is desired. – Physical exp. with 2 or 3 areas and knowledge of all. 5.
