*5-7+ years java dev experience needed. *

*Must have a strong background in Enterprise Java development with XML,
JSON, JMS, SQL, Web Services (SOAP & REST API).*

*Experience in Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, Oracle Weblogic Server, Apache
Tomcat, data modeling, Single Sign On, and PL/SQL is preferred.*


Java developer needs to dedicate 90% of his time to a high-priority project
for Student Orientation. This developer, Harry, will donate 10% of his time
each week to guide and direct our TP.

The TP will design, implement, and test system interfaces using Oracle
Database and Web Services in a Java 6 & 7 environment. Development will be
done in Eclipse and JDeveloper.

They don't expect this person to be a strong front end developer, but the
TP will need to have some front end to modify existing UI pages, if needed.

PROJECTS:

(1) Alumni Relations tool called Cevent - allows alumni to register online
for events. App interacts with other systems. Need to build interfaces and
connections plus work on single sign on using java libraries.
(2) Banner/Housing System integration project - using Oracle SOA, fusion
middle. Want to make Banner publish events to the student housing system.
Mentioned a JMS que.
(3) Blackboard modification project - java code been written to take info
from banner and feed into blackboard learning system. With integration of
Law school into LMU banner solution they now need to rewrite some of code
to stop data flow from Law school to blackboard.
(4) Single sign-on project: integration with new BOX cloud storage
solution, law school sign on changes need to be made.
