Here is the job description: Title: Sr. Embedded Developer Location – Fremont, CA Duration – 3- 6 months We are looking for a SW person on a short term contract for one of our storage projects. Here's the requirement/skills set for this person: · BSCS/EE with 15+ years or MSCS/EE with 12+ years relevant experience. · Minimum 2 years experience in supervising or project lead role. · Minimum 6 years experience developing embedded C/C++ code. · Minimum 5 years experience developing SOC device drivers & API. · Minimum 4 years working knowledge of storage/network protocols including, but not limited to SAS/SATA, RAID, TCP/IP, Ethernet. · Exposure to next generation standards will be a plus. · Lead contributor in either a LSI or Adaptec SAS Host Bus Adapter(HBA) on-board firmware and device driver(Linux preferred) · SAS HBA must support SATA Tunneling Protocol (STP) · Strong communication and inter-personal skills. · Self driven and motivational role model for project team members.
