*Job Description:*

Client is looking for a Junior .net/ Web Developer to join their team in
the in the Madison, WI area. This is a great opportunity for someone to
begin their IT career with a well-known organization in the area!

*Responsibilities:*

   - Sustain maintenance and security that ensures system uptimes and data
   integrity for the organization’s enterprise application systems and web
   sites.
   - Design, create and implement features and solutions including .NET
   user controls, workflows, forms, custom web parts, custom layouts and
   solutions.
   - Research, recommend and deploy new database technologies, third party
   solutions and other web services.
   - Develop, modify, and maintain customized applications and databases.
   - Develop and maintain structural design for web sites that are
   appropriate for the intended audience, easy to navigate, and consistent in
   design.
   - Work with staff to review requirements, deliverables, and project
   deadlines for business system applications or tools.
   - Monitor web sites for technical problems, report such problems and
   monitor solution efforts to ensure that all web sites are continuously
   operational within the IS Department standards.

Apply IS Department practices, techniques and procedures to assist in
delivering accurate and timely information to internal and external
customers.



*Qualifications:*

   - Two year degree in computer systems or equivalent work experience.
   - 2 years of ASP.NET (C#) and SQL development.
   - Proficiency in HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JQuery, JavaScript.
   - Experience with structuring, developing, and implementing complex web
   sites, employing dynamic database design and content management system.
   - Experience with various web development, authoring and design tools:
   Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.
   - Fundamental, hands on knowledge of MS SQL Server.
   - Ability to lead software development lifecycle, including analysis,
   design, configuring, programming and unit testing for information worker
   applications based on Microsoft technologies.

Strong understanding and familiarity with MS Windows Server environment and
installations including Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) or
equivalent.
