Job Title : SAS developer Location: Eagan, MN Duration: Longterm contract *NEED LOCAL TO MN* Job Description: Sr. Buisness Intelligence Data Analyst/SAS Developer. This individual will be accountable for analysing and redirecting various existing BI Reports and/or Data Submissions and Assets to new data sources. The work involves highly complex analysis between the existing and new data sources which have multiple differences/grains. This individual is expected to do both the detailed analysis, data mapping and complex transformations, as well as the SAS development for these reports. The work also may include analysis of rewriting of user views to point to new data sources. Accountabilities: Directly and primarily responsible for highly complex and detailed healthcare data analysis between disparate sources, data profiling, and creating detailed source-to-target data mapping for redirecting/rewriting BI Reporting to use multiple data sources (both current and new, including determining and applying necessary business, data quality and transformation rules; ensuring BI report rewrites using new and/or disparate data sources are minimally disrupted and satisfy business needs. In most cases, additional substantial complex logic will need to be built into the reports. Directly and primarily responsible for the related SAS Code development for remediated BI reporting; reports are primarily interactive. Work includes code development, involvement in QA, code deployments and Point person for gathering and documenting detailed business and technical requirements; scheduling and leading discussions with business including requirements gathering, reviewing profiling results, approvals, BAT coordination and support The BI Lead/Data Analyst is typically expected to also act as the lead for the work unit; ability to lead and motivate as well as assist in supporting/driving results (this is in addition to the primary responsibility of detailed analysis as noted above); May also be responsible for analyzing and modifying existing and/or creating new semantic data views used by business users directly or as a source for reports.
