*Position*: Network Engineer *Location*: NYC *Duration*: 3-6 Months or so (maybe longer). He/She will partner with the Engineering and Architecture team to implement new network technologies, configure routers & switches, and assist with refresh projects. He/She will work alongside additional teams to support the Network equipment in the field. This is a hands-on team. He/She will interact with upper management and may be required to travel to various work sites/stations in the metro area (once a week) to work on networking equipment. *Qualifications:* 5+ years of network support and deployment of Cisco network equipment Excellent customer service skills 3-5+ years experience with LAN / WAN design and deployment CCNA (required); CCNP (preferred) Cisco Catalyst 6500, Cisco Catalyst 4900, Catalyst 3750, and 2811 and 7206 router platforms Cisco EIGRP / OSPF/BGP routing protocol IP Networking Data Center design and deployment QoS 3-layer, high-availability designs Interested and qualified candidates should respond to this posting with a Word copy of their resume along with a brief description of how their experience meets the needs of our client.
