Title: Splunk Architect Location: Atlanta, GA(Need Locals) Contract Term: 6 Months plus (may extend) Job Description • Architect and implement a medium sized splunk deployment. • Splunk Certification is mandatory • Design and implement Splunk infrastructure, deployment, products, apps, reports, alerts, and dashboards • Assess and resolve issues in an existing Splunk environment to improve efficiencies, reduce system overhead and optimize performance. • Write and optimize queries to support saved searches, alerts, and reports. • Design and improve custom dashboards. • Work with knowledge objects to support other responsibilities. • Review potential data sources to generate data input and data manipulation configurations. • Engage with users and other technical teams to gather data and complete tasks. • Collaborate with project management resources. • Work on other Splunk development tasks and projects as needed. • Assist with continual development of the tools and processes. • Drive towards greater automation. • Partner with organization peers to further develop and expand visibility and analytics. • Drive customer satisfaction. • Mentor and motivate cross functional team members. • Responsible for leading diverse cross functional teams to implement functionality and provide training on use of the monitoring and analytics toolset.
