Responsibilities
Installing Siebel application version 8.0 on Windows and Unix
platforms
Working knowledge of Unix operating system (Unix commands required
to administer Siebel)
Configuration and Administration of Siebel Enterprise, Servers,
Component Groups and Components
Ability to debug complex issue related to Siebel enterprise and
servers
Migrate code between environments (Siebel, EIM and EAI codes)
Administer Workflows and EAI objects
Administration of data such as List of Values, Responsibilities,
Views, System Preferences etc.
Knowledge of Siebel architecture for Load Balancing
Analyze and define business requirements, develop business process
mapping, and conduct gap analysis
Siebel development using Siebel Tools, eScript, Siebel VB, SQL, and
other methods
Troubleshoot and analyze system errors and resolve development
issues
Design, configure, and test Siebel using Siebel tools and its
components such as eScript, Siebel VB,
business components, applets, views, picklist, MVG applet, etc)
Analyze business requirements , design and develop the most
efficient solution
Assist with integration and data migration definition configuration
Siebel
Minimum Qualifications:
o Siebel 7.7/7.8 experience is mandatory, Siebel 8.x is preferred
o Minimum 1 year Siebel configuration and application design
experience
o Minimum 1 year functional and technical design experience
o Expert in Siebel Configuration utilizing Siebel Tools
Expert in Siebel Navigation and Siebel User Interface
