*SOME ETL/INFORMATICA EXPERIENCE IS A HUGE PLUS...*
*Keys to role:** **
- DB2 Database development *
*- Oracle development experience*
*- Solid SQL* *experience **
- Very strong Shell scripting skills (prefer AIX Unix experience) - expert
level
- Experience supporting Production databases
- Experience with ETL/Informatica development and support* * - preferred*
*Minimum Qualification:***
-Minimum 5+ years of experience, with a Minimum of two years in data
analysis/SQL Programming in Brokerage/Investment Mgmt area.
-Strong SQL knowledge in a relational environment.
- Oracle development
-Understand UNIX Shell Scripting and be able to run basic UNIX commands and
execute Shell scripts.
-Strong communication (written and oral) and customer service skills.
-Ability to interact effectively with in the Development Team and with
Project Managers
-Self-starter with ability to pick-up new concepts and skills quickly.
-Goal oriented with strong business analysis skills.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
-Ability to QA the Data with the help of Business Partners
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
*Preferred Skills***
-Knowledge of SQL queries in DB2/UNIX
-Informatica ETL/AIX/Shell scripting
-Business analysis
-Experience with reporting and Data Analysis in a BI environment
-Business knowledge of Brokerage/Investment Management and Trust is a PLUS
-Sound Knowledge of Data Modeling and Physical Data Organization
