Need -  *SQL DBA / Architect -  Local To NYC ,NY *- Interview ASAP

Position : SQL DBA / Architect
Location :  NYC ,NY
Duration :    6+ Months


*Required Skills:*

   - Experience of working with a wide range of applications that relied on
   SQL Server as the underlying RDBMS
   - Experience of working with SQL Server versions from SQL 2005 to SQL
   2014, including the basic relational engine but also the eco system,
   including SSRS, and SSIS
   - Troubleshooting performance issues within SQL Server using native tool
   set.
   - Good understanding of SQL Server entitlements model (e.g. Kerberos,
   NTLM)
   - Be able to demonstrate in depth experience of working with the Windows
   OS
   - Have experience of using native Windows tools to generate performance
   profile
   - Have experience of using native Windows tools to troubleshoot
   performance Issues within the Operating System
   - Good understanding of Windows entitlements model (e.g. Kerberos)



*Responsibilities :*
1) Carrying out the initial analysis of the boxes to be migrated
2) Documenting the findings, and highlighting any differences from the
basic build
3) Carrying out a basic performance profile on the box
4) Contribute to the planning and scheduling of the migration
5) Engaging with the factory team to ensure subsequent build box has
captured any idiosyncrasies and is fit for purpose
6) Providing support to the factory team during the migration work windows
(This will involve some out of hours and weekend work).
