*PART A:  The ONE MANDATORY REQUIREMENT*

*Expert Level*

*You must be an Expert Technical Architect with documented employment
experience of 7+ years (84+ months).*

You must have technical experience centered on a technology, technologies
or a portfolio of applications.  Designing and implementing Information
Technology solutions.

You must be able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive
industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.



*PART B:   Requested Desirable Qualifications:  The numbered qualifications
below are not mandatory, but candidates should meet or exceed in duration
and skill set target asked for, at least 3 of numbers 1 through 6. *

1.         Minimum 84 months experience designing and implementing highly
available and scalable multitier applications using Object Oriented or
Service Oriented Architecture involving data structures, algorithms,
software design and JEE Design Patterns.

2.         Minimum 48 months hands on experience in creating technical
designs and deploying applications in IBM Websphere Portal 6.1 and
Websphere Application servers 7.0 or higher.

3.         Minimum 60 months experience architecting systems related to
criminal justice processing (including but not limited to: disposition
processing, fingerprint identification processing, criminal history
updating, Sex Offender management, tracking of Wanted/Missing persons, or
initiatives related to Offender Supervision).

4.         Minimum 60 months creating technical designs that are
implemented with JAVA Development Kit (JDK 1.5 or higher).

5.         Minimum 48 months experience creating technical designs used to
implement applications deployed on an Integrated Justice Portal.

6.         Minimum 60 months hands performing code review of applications
developed using JMS, EJB, MQ, JSF, JAXB, JAXWS, and/or Hibernate.



*Project Scope- duties of position*

*Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following*

·       Provide expert architecture knowledge and guidance to teams.

·       Understand and implement Integrated Justice Portal standards
related to application technologies, including UI standards, development
methodology, and coding and style guides.

·       Act as the primary technical liaison with technical infrastructure
teams to resolve problems and implement solutions to technical issues
impacting application performance.

·       Work with the Infrastructure team to execute activities such as
performance test planning and execution failure failover planning and
execution, endurance testing and deployment planning and testing.

·       Provide the analysis, design, and code review enterprise
applications using JAVA/JEE, JSF, XML, XSLT and the IBM Portal/WebSphere
Application development software.

·       Perform oversight of development activities which may include data
analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, preparing
logical database models, testing and implementation.

·       Prepare, and/or review technical documentation such as designs,
schemas, etc., as appropriate.

·       Provide technical leadership to team of developers.
