Role: Test Automation Engineer Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 6 + months Test Automation Engineer will need to participate in Test Planning activities and develop the automation strategy. They will evaluate the non-functional requirements for testability and participate in the review of the technical acceptance criteria. Usually considered a technical expert in their field, they focus on Automated Testing such as Functional Automation, Performance, Load and Capacity, Networks and Infrastructure, and Web Services. Responsible for developing test automation scripts and also responsible for creating tools using the. NET framework. Individual should be well versed in webservice testing architecture and tools. Responsibilities include designing, developing and implementing software tools for testing and development. Individuals will also provide guidance to and review the work of other team members as well as investigating ways to potentially improve processes existing today and implement improvements. The candidate will work on a single or multiple projects. The Test Capability requires a fully flexible individual in both their approach to work and its execution. Successful candidates need to have proven performance testing experience, security testing, functional automation and automation testing of applications including Mobile. There must be a demonstration of a full and grounded understanding of testing approaches, methods and technologies. Candidates must have experience of defect management processes, and understanding of best practices in testing and the ability to suggest ways forward following outcomes of performance testing.
