We have a client located in the San Francisco Bay Area looking for an Senior level Java developer for a Web-based project.
Duration: 6 months with possible extensions Start Date: Immediate Location: Redwood City, CA (LOCAL ONLY) Rate: $45 per hour depending on years of experience This is a 6 month assignment with a direct client. A full job description appears below, but the key parameters are: Skills: . Minimum 6 years software engineering experience . Java, J2EE, JSP, Struts, JSF, M-V-C . Working knowledge of relational database concepts is required . Experience with object-relational mapping is required . Enterprise web application planning, design and implementation . Develop software using Java, JSP, Struts, and JSF . Adhere to coding and development process and standards - documentation, testing, coding practices . Develop and enhance using M-V-C structure including presentation layer, persistence layer, and control . Maintain code in source control with Perforce . Work with the ePocrates database team to design and develop the database component (schema changes, stored procedures) of web technologies . Design code to accommodate complex business rules Skill Requirements: . Minimum 6 years software engineering experience . Java, J2EE, JSP, Struts, JSF, M-V-C . Working knowledge of relational database concepts is required . Experience with object-relational mapping is required . Proficiency with source control is required .
