This role will also develop plans and/or recommendations to integrate new and existing standards, methodologies and/or processes for assigned systems, and provide project management to ensure projects and/or application releases are successfully implemented according to business requirements and system standards. The Functional Applications Consultant will be brought on to join a team of Analysts and Developers to assist in the implementation of the PeopleSoft Purchasing module. Chosen candidate will act as a liaison between Business Units and the technical team. Qualifications: Ability to assist in evaluating, analyzing and selecting procurement and eProcurement solutions. Experience with procurement solution requirements gathering, evaluation, selection, and development of business case. Must have in depth knowledge of assigned applications and demonstrated understanding of the organizations business systems and processes, as well as ability to understand technical problems and solutions in relation to current as well as future business environments. Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Project management experience in organizing, planning and executing projects. Must also have experience coordinating multiple aspects of eProcurement implementation (supplier enablement, user adoption, workflow design, product configuration). Experience in documenting business cases, configuration options and integration to other financial modules from conception through implementation. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. Required Skills: 5 years of PeopleSoft experience, 3+ years experience with PeopleSoft Purchasing. PeopleSoft Inventory a plus. 8+ years work experience in business systems analysis across multiple business processes and/or business unit experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of systems with demonstrated mastery of system and business knowledge and understanding of multiple discipline/processes related to the position.
