Peoplesoft DBA 2+ month contract in DC *MUST HAVE Experience with Points in Red.* *Peoplesoft Internet ArchitectureCampus Solution 9.1PeopleTools 8.52 or 8.53 Peoplesoft Financials 9.1Oracle Database AdminTroubleshooting production issues* *Our Client is seeking a PeopleSoft Database Administrator consultant with experience and subject matter expertise in PeopleSoft Internet Architecture and Oracle Database Administration. The successful candidate will provide PeopleSoft Administration support for the PeopleSoft Enterprise systems running in an Oracle RDBMS environment with specific emphasis on the PeopleSoft server infrastructure.* Responsibilities: *Support and coordinate implementation of major technical projects such as system upgrades of PeopleTools, PS applications (Tax updates and bundles). Configure and maintain all PeopleSoft production, test and development environments and instances. Maintain the PIA, Application Server, Web Server, and the Process Schedulers. Perform periodic environment refreshes. Perform project migration to Production system and maintain migration procedures to ensure change control. Conduct performance tuning and proactive monitoring of Web Servers, Application Servers, and Process Schedulers. Develop and maintain monitoring scripts to monitor systems. Experience with applications like Quest Foglight is desired.Configure and maintain database Security of the production ecosystem.Document and communicate project activities to the manager on a regular basis.Troubleshooting production issuesCoordinate and install product fixes to current releases of PeopleSoft* The consultant must be an overall Subject Matter Expert and provide technical expertise to users and PeopleSoft developers in resolving system problems and in designing solutions to address university's business needs. This role will require providing written documentation of applied fixes; objects migrated into production, changes made to the PeopleSoft system and problem solutions. Required Skills *Must be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture and PeopleTools.Must have excellent knowledge and detailed experience of performance monitoring and tuningExperience within PeopleSoft Modules (Campus Solutions 9.0, HCM 9.0, and Finance 9.1) as well PeopleSoft Integration with third party systems is a desired.Ability to use strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues.Ability to work independently.Familiarity with project planning processes is a plus.
