Must have strong MVC design & development skills to create and maintain the web application. Also assist with routine data quality verification processes and with the design, implementation and management of reports required to help administer, track, and report on all of the clean energy activities managed through the NJBPU. *RESPONSIBILITIES* · IT Development o Participate in technical design discussions o Development § Java (Java EE 6, Spring Core/MVC) § Tomcat § Quartz Scheduler § Web Development (JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS) § Database (Oracle 12c) o Testing o Documentation · Demonstrate creativity in designing an intuitive and clutter free application · Develop quick and dirty stubs that can ease interaction between the Java components and the UI or database · Take ownership of projects from early stage design through development and deployment. · Reporting o Implement standardized and ad-hoc reports (Excel) *REQUIREMENTS* 5+ years of non-academic professional experience Must have: · Java/Spring Core/MVC or similar frameworks (3+ years) · Hibernate (3+ years) · Tomcat or similar server (3+ years) · Quartz Scheduler (2+ years) · Excel reports and macros (3+ years) · PDF Writers (2+ years) · Oracle 12c SQL, PL/SQL (3+ years) Good to have: · Angular JS 1.x · HTML5/CSS · JavaScript · JQuery/AJAX Additional Requirements: · Grasps design concepts and assimilates business knowledge with relative ease · Ability to work in a rapid-development environment & flexible hours · Proven ability to work independently · Attention to detail · Takes responsibility for assignment completion and follow-through · Establishes and maintain good working relationships with internal team and external partners/clients · Ability to communicate regularly and effectively with team members and supervisor · Promotes an image of a high quality organization through expertise and responsiveness · Strong communication skills, both written and spoken U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required May be required to pass security clearance investigation *WORK SCHEDULE* Full Time - Limited travel.
