Title : QA Engineer w/ SOAP UI experience. Location: Bellevue, WA (F2F Reqired) Duration: 6+ months Skills Required: 3-5 yrs of Web Services testing experience SOAP UI Automation experience- C++, C#, JavaScript A self motivated experienced test engineer with good technical skills in test design and execution both manually and using automation frameworks. Candidate must have excellent communication skills to enable them to work with and lead offshore teams. Previous experience in creating and using automation frameworks is essential. The candidate must have a knowledge of test practices and application of test theory and a willingness to research test practices and share learning with team members. They also need to have a basic understanding of OO programming or web based applications and have worked with similar types of systems before. Responsibilities: Test Planning and execution •Can independently design, spec and schedule a test suite design •Executes test cases and reports results •Creates and manages testing schedules •Able to coordinate project level work between onshore and offshore •Uses risk management to prioritize the features to be tested •Measures how well the test design covers the product features •Problem solving •Demonstrates ability to identify and solve complex problems at the component or feature level •Proposes methods for improvement •Proactively looks for potential quality issues •Identifies and builds effective solutions to complex technical problems proactively •Technical Ability •Contributes to Technical Reviews and Root Cause Analysis sessions •Demonstrates technical leadership skills within the team •Involved from product inception with developing requirements and UAT tests, uses static test techniques where applicable •Finds and recommends industry standard testing methodologies and technologies •Expert in test design.
