Data Conversion, Database Development, ETL Tools.

*Roles and Responsibilities:* Duties will include
· Communication with users to gather requirements and
analyze/address issues
· Evaluate the requirements of Data Conversion project and gather
the necessary data to be able to model the work effort involved to estimate
Data Conversion project work
· Evaluate data related requirements around data quality and master
data management and understand and articulate how these factors apply to
Data Conversion project work and the estimation of Data Conversion project
work effort
· Understand the concepts of Data Handling. data quality, data
ownership, and data governance, and understand how they apply to Data
Conversion project work so that these concepts can be conveyed to others as
part of Data Conversion project work activities
· Collaborate with database professionals, developers, other
architects and management on all issues regarding data management,
application development, and data movement and/or transformation
· Interact with executives to learn the business objectives and
propose creative solutions to meet those objectives

*Required skills and experience:*
· 7+ years of software development experience
· Strong 3-4 years experience with Data Conversion
· Must have strong skills in database development, data handling
· Good experience with ETL programming and Development
· Demonstrated experience integrating systems in multi-user,
multi-platform, multitasking operating systems environments
· Working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, DB2,
SQL Server, etc.
· Strong knowledge of SDLC

RAD env / Java / J2EE / scripting language like JavaScript/VBScript

· Coding and debugging Application

· 5+ years of IVR app development experience
· Avaya certification preferred for Dialog Designer
· Must have sound knowledge and hands on experience on
VXML/CCXML/Dialog Designer/Open Speech Dialog/ASR like Nuance Recognizer/Web
Services/SOA/JDBC/Eclipse RAD env/Java/J2EE/Scripting language like
JavaScript/VBScript
· Must have an overall knowledge of IVR application development
including IVR VUI design, Speech recognition, Grammar definition, Avaya
Voice Portal components MPP/VPMS
· Excellent coding and debugging skills
