*TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS :*
*REQUIREMENT 1:*
*Skills*
· Open System platforms (UNIX, LINUX, Intel, HP, SUN), sound
scripting abilities, experience with supporting various middleware
technologies such as web services and CORBA services and communication
software( iPlanet, WebSphere, Apache, Orbix, JVM, JBOSI, TOPCOM, MQSeries
etc). Experience with monitoring tools and responding to system and
application alerts. Experience with basic SQL and various DBMS technologies
such as Oracle, DB2, Informix and Sybase. Besides this they should have the
knowledge of high availability products such as VCS
· Ability to use various scripting tools and put tools in place for
proactive monitoring and problem detection.
· Familiarity and experience with OSS’s and telecommunication
products and services. They should have experience with standard IT system
support processes such as
o -Disaster Recovery/ High Availability
o -Change Management
o -Release Management and Implementation
o -Service Monitoring and Support
o -Backup/Recovery
o -New hardware setup and production roll out
· Experience working in dynamic, fast paced work environments as
part of large cross organizational teams. They should be able to work under
system crisis situations and help with rapid problem determination and
recovery
* REQUIREMENT 2:*
*Application Admin / Production Support** *
*Windows/Siebel: Knowledge of server and application support; knowledge of
Siebel and production support. Experience in doing production (Dev to Prod)
releases; knowledge of SQL and running queries, the ability to work off
hours which will include nights and weekend work. Communication with
management and customers. *
