Works with direction and input from the Lead Developer and Manager of Information Technology. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Maintain and extend existing development activities Plan, design and develop new feature functionality for software applications Troubleshoot, identify, and debug defects in application code Design software to fulfill requirements *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Strict adherence to coding best practice Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong writing skills, with a focus on through technical documentation Minimum of 3 years-experience in software development *Required Skills: * Onshore minimum 3 years experience Expert level SQL for Oracle 11g PL/SQL for Oracle 11g, including creation and modification of packages, stored procedure, tables, indexes, functions, among other object types SQL tuning Oracle SQL Developer IDE, and/or hand-coding Intermediate level Subversion versioning system JSON *Ideal Candidate * SQLite UNIX-based operating systems PHP XML & SOAP *MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: * Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. *LANGUAGE SKILLS: * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, with several abstract and concrete variables.
