Role: PeopleSoft Manufacturing Functional Analyst Duration: 12+ months CTH Location: Houston TX Rate: OPEN/DOE *Position Summary* The Application Support Specialist provides functional support for PeopleSoft Supply Chain Management Solutions administration, configuration, maintenance, project management and implementation. A candidate should have exceptional knowledge of PeopleSoft out-of-the-box functionality with best practice knowledge of the financial application. Modules that are to be supported are: Manufacturing. This support includes administration, configuration and maintenance of the software; implementing new applications; designing current system enhancements; and upgrade testing and support. *Duties & Responsibilities* Include the following but other duties may be assigned: - Liaison between the functional users of PeopleSoft and PeopleSoftDevelopment to ensure the system is meeting the business needs of the organization - Exceptional knowledge of PeopleSoft SCM modules (Manufacturing) - Knowledge of Asset Purchasing, Inventory, Oracle ASCP, Bar-coding are a *plus**, **but not required* - Configuration/setup of modules to Our client specifications - Oversee the system testing of assigned modules - Develop user training documentation - Trainer for selected modules - Participate in implementation/upgrade teams - Provide continuous user support - Provide direction and development support for less experienced employees - Some travel required, possibly international. *Qualifications* - High School diploma and at least 6-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience. BBA or BBS preferred. - 4+ years experience in PeopleSoft application support for Manufacturing. - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. - Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the following software. 1. *People Soft 9.X (1 or 2)* 2. Design software 3. Development software 4.
