*Cheesecake Factory , Calabasas, CA (near Los Angeles)* *SSRS/Business Objects Reports Developer* *1-3 months* *1 phone and then in-person* *H1s ok* *Interview and start next week is desired* * * Position Summary: The Report Developer will function within a team to execute requirements, design, develop and debug reports according to the organization's requirements and standards. Additionally this is a short-term project, which involves the developing, documenting and distributing of custom reports to business groups per designed specifications. It also involves assisting in designing technical reports related to financial and manufacturing applications. Scope: The Cheesecake Factory is engaging in a database-archiving project for which there is a requirement to create a duplicate set of archive reports that match the existing production reports (approximately 20 reports). A new set of archived data tables has already been created to house this data (the data has been loaded as well). The new tables follow the same architecture as the old tables and have a one to one correlation with existing production assets. The scope of the engagement will be as follows: 1. Inventory and document existing reports in use 2. Conversion of 16 reports (Business Objects, Crystal and Microsoft FRx) to new SSRS reports pointed at the duplicate archive data set. 3. Adhere to Best Practice Processes, Service Standards and to all relevant statutory or regulatory requirements, including supports any company initiatives. 4. Should the engagement go well, there is an opportunity for contract extension to help us with other needs 5. A minimum of three years experience in SSRS or Business Objects report design 6. SSRS Reports Design and Development projects in MS Visual Studio 2005/2008 including requirements definition, design documentation, report development and structured testing 7. Hands-on Experience working on SSRS/SSAS/SSIS (Design/Enhancement). 8. Experience with Business Objects and/or Crystal report development. 9. Experience with SSRS Administration and Support 10. Understanding of relational database structures 11. Experience of working within the Finance and Manufacturing Industry would be beneficial 12. Must have excellent communication skills, fluent in English and the ability to discuss technical matters with business users. 13. Strong analytical, testing and documentation skills. 14.
