Hi,

*Seeking Infrastructure Architect Immediately*

*San Francisco, CA*

*6 -12 Months*

* *

*Deep understanding and ability to teach and lead people and groups in the
following technologies:*

• Browsers, Certificates, SSL, ISPs – How does the customer’s
PC/device connection from their location over the internet to our exterior
firewalls and negotiate connections? How do you design the systems behind
the exterior firewalls to accept the browser/device connections?

• Web Server and Load Balancing – Knowing the use of web servers,
hosting content, and how to load balance the incoming requests. Knowledge
of how to use F5 BIG IPs and iRules to intelligently route incoming traffic
to the correct location.

• Security Devices, Technology, and Software – Knowledge of
Firewalls, Application Server Firewalls, Security techniques, and Best
Practices.

• Server Hardware – Knowledge of Sun, HP, Dell, and/or IBM
Hardware. How to use the server effectively either by virtualization
techniques, tuning, using the Hardware to the maximum usage.

• Application Containers – Ability to design how to use the
container for Java code. Knowledge of the industry standards (vendor and
open source). Preferred knowledge in Web Logic and Tomacat.

• Networking - Ability to know how information is transversing the
TCP stack for design and troubleshooting. The Architect needs to know how
to move and process information through the network (devices and in and out
of servers) to meet Service Level Agreements and Online Level Agreements.

• Operating Systems – Working Knowledge of Solaris 10 and Red Hat
4/5 is required. The Architect needs to understand what the limitations are
for the OS with the different server models from Sun and the x86 vendors. The
Architect needs to understand how to use the OS to virtualize or use the
hardware and the OS to virtualize.

• Database Software versions and capabilities – example Oracle 10
features and Oracle 11 features. What are the available vendor and open
