*Duration:* 3 Months *Location:* Raleigh, NC *Description:* Ø The client seeks a certified Splunk Architect to join the USPS (CISO) security operations team. Ø Candidate must have a Splunk Architect Certification. *Required Skills: * Ø BS/BA in related discipline Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related Math or Science discipline. Ø In addition to 5+ years of experience in any related Information Technology field. Ø Will consider additional related industry experience in lieu of degree. Ø Certified Splunk Architect Ø 5+ years of Splunk Experience Ø Extensive experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, and security event correlation. Ø Excellent troubleshooting skills, self-motivated, results-driven and well organized. • Ø Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management. *Preferred Skills: * Ø Experience in clustered Enterprise Splunk deployment Ø Expertise of proper security design philosophy. Ø Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security Ø CISSP, Security +, or related information security certification. *Additional Provisions* Ø Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. Ø If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance. Ø All candidates must have lived in the United States for the past five (5) years. Ø Cannot have more than 6 month’s cumulative travel outside the United States within the last five years. Ø Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
