Sr. SAP Business Systems Analyst Location: Beaverton, OR Duration: 6 Months Start: ASAP
OVERVIEW The investigation, analysis and documentation of all or part of a SAP business in terms of business functions and processes and the information they use. The definition of requirements for improving any aspect of the processes and systems. The creation of viable specifications in preparation for the construction of information systems. Work with business to define business/product requirements. REQUIRED Experience working as a Business System Analyst and System Analyst on multiple projects and business functions Experience with both SAP reports and BI reporting as they pertain to HR 1+ years if SAP implementations Proven ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to motivate others within work group Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting) Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications Ensure adherence to change control policies and audit guidelines Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group PREFERRED Experience with Project Management, including milestones and deadlines RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in the delivery of global HR reporting solutions (SAP and non-SAP platforms). Serve as a resource to bridge between the business analysts responsible for defining the requirements and the development/QA teams responsible for implementing them. Work with diverse groups with different agendas and viewpoints and align them to a common viewpoint. Participate in QA and testing activities, including facilitating user acceptance testing and triaging defects. Perform advanced systems analysis and document system processes. Collaborate on technical design. Perform and advise on triage and troubleshooting activities. Participate in testing activities. Validate that the system design meets business process requirements. Work with systems personnel to implement design. Communicate project status to management/business. Provide input to project management on tasks, risk management, and provide support and participate in change management at the department and end user level.
