Client will reimburse for all travel and lodging cost during their onsite boarding period *JOB DESCRIPTION:* *Sr. SQL Server DBA* *Location:* Pittsburgh, PA *Duration:* 6-12 Months *Interview Mode:* Telephonic *This is NOT a Production DBA*. *Requirements:* · Urgent Need for Sr. SQL Server DBA *must have enterprise level experience in global environment* · The technical environment at Client is *SQL Server 2008/2012*. Upon starting this position the candidate will need to - 1) Assess Client’s database architecture 2) Assess the databases 3) Figure out the health of the environment 4) Make recommendations 5) Put a plan in place to correct the issues and maintain the environment. Recommendations could include: reorganizing tables, upgrading versions that may currently be out of support, eliminating instances that are costing extra money that could be combined with other instances.
