*Client: Gilead Sciences Location: Foster City, CA Length: Very long term* *Below is an UPDATED JD:* *Job Description: Sr. Systems Admin* o* Citrix/VMware/MFST/Netapp/SolarWinds (8+ years experience)* *o Cloud experience (AWS)* *o GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience is a HUGE plus* *o Documentation heavy (good writing skills)* · Support Windows servers 2000 to 2012 Redhat Linux 6.2+ · Expert knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy · Working knowledge of Netapp · Working knowledge of Amazon Cloud · Working knowledge of Citrix · Working knowledge of Vmware ESX Host and Vcenter · Working knowledge of DB software (SQL, Oracle) · Will work with the existing IT Operations team to design, implement, manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support all server environments (DEV, TST, VAL, PROD) · Working knowledge of scripting – MS powershell · Will require implementation of new system hardware and software, and developing and writing local operating procedures and policies as needed or requested. · Will need to be adept at monitoring the ongoing operation of the servers and providing utilization reports to identify problems and corrective actions as needed. · Assist in the execution of IT led initiatives within PDM · Provide remote site support on IT issues as needed. · Work with IT to monitor (solarwinds) and improve performance of LIS systems at PDM and supported *Commercial sites.* · Maintain and provide access to PDM file shares and Active Directory groups. · Manage imaging using Symantec Ghost of Lab Computers and LACE computers for instruments in PDM. · Manage procurement and inventory of Lab/LACE Computers in collaboration with Instrument · Manage Service group. · Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for PDM specific applications and tools · Perform other duties as assigned Priyanka Katiyar Technical Recruiter Nityo Infotech Corp.
