This will be an extension for the existing program for use on the Apple iOS devices including iPhone and iPad. Create iPhone application of MyVaxIndiana, use existing *MyVaxIndiana *Process and layout as basis for new program. Complete process including Apple Store of app. Please provide a basic description of the duties and responsibilities of the position. The person is responsible for creating an iPhone application based on the existing MyVaxIndiana web service. This will be an extension for the existing program for use on the Apple iOS devices including iPhone and iPad. Why is this position necessary for the continued operation of the Indiana State Department of Health? CHIRP was created under state law IC 16-38-5 which requires the registry to accessible by providers and makes Immunization records available to persons that request it. MyVaxIndiana was created to allow individuals to access their records. This person's role will be to enhance the application and make the use of it easier on enhanced smartphone devices using iOS . What negative impact will the agency and/or division suffer if the position is not filled? None If the position is not filled, how will these duties and responsibilities be shifted? This is a specialized position and cannot be completed by internal staff. Does this request include a change in the hourly rate? If so, how much is the change?
