The work done in this group is very data intensive. Candidates must have demonstrated experience analyzing data, working with the databases, writing complex SQL queries, strong documentation skills, and experience participating in JAD sessions. In this role the BA will work directly with the technical developers and must understand the technical side of things, as well as translate the technical terms and work with the business. The BA will act as the liaison between the technical team and the business, and will be involved in all meetings. The BA will meet with the business to gather requirements and document the requirements. The BA will be required to produce a lot of detailed documentation – business requirements documents, technical specifications, data mapping requirements, etc. Candidates should be comfortable with, and understand the concepts of Business Intelligence Reporting - Business Objects or Crystal Reports, and relational/dimensional data models.
