DAY CQ experience REQUIRED CQ CMS: MUST Have need strong JS and HTML/CSS. I think in our case we had mostly been looking at Angular.JS but that’s not a must, only a nice to have. Project: Working on the Homepage and Top level entry points, redesigning these and working with a cutting edge set of technologies from both a UI and CMS perspective. Job Description: As a UI developer you will be responsible for implementing flexible and templated UI's for a collection of large international travel Websites. You will play an active development role in cross functional teams that are comprised of: Information Architects, Visual Design, and Back-End development teams. As a member of the User Interface Technology group you will need key skills in the areas of browser compliance and standards based frontend development, as well as experience in templating technologies. Essential Skills: - Strong Standards Based HTML Development (4+ Years) - CSS (4+ Years) - Strong Javascript (4+ Years) - Experience with SEO and Accessibility Factors - XML (2+ years) - Current experience with a templating framework (1+ Year) - Current Experience with Content Management Systems (1+ Year) - Experience with such IDEs as Dreamweaver, Eclipse or IntelliJ - Source version control (Subversion/CVS) - Good written and verbal skills Additional Desirable Skills: - Java/JSP - jQuery or other JS Framework - Understand UI Performance strategies - CMS System such as Vignette or Day CQ5 - Experience with Agile or other structured methodologies EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years related experience.
