*Role – SAS Developer Location – Wilmington, DE* *Duration – 12+ Months* * Roles and Responsibilities:* Have experience using SAS for data reporting purposes. The consultant also needs to have experience working in both a windows and UNIX environment, along with solid SQL querying skills. 1] Develop and improve existing reports and data interfaces using SAS. Convert existing SAS code into high quality SAS code that is efficient (fast), automated, maintainable, and follows industry best practices. 6-8 years of SAS experience developing, maintaining, and administering SAS programming solutions. 2] Must be knowledgeable of best practices using SAS (Enterprise Guide, SAS DI studio). Strong PL/SQL, ORACLE, TERADATA experience. Experience with troubleshooting, and automation of SAS jobs and code. Will be responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. 3] May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations. Person needs strong SAS reporting, Data Mining and ability to present data in a formalized manner. 4] The candidate must have strong SAS programming skills with respect to ETL (e.g., data step, PROC SQL, PROC SUMMARY) and report writing (SAS/GRAPH, PROC REPORT, PROC TABULATE, ODS). Familiarity with basic statistical procedures is required. *Must have skills:* 1. Proficiency with MS office 2. Must be able to work independently 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Exposure to Basel, Risk and Regulatory Compliance & exposure to CCAR and DFAST. 5. Strong analytical abilities required to interact with customers to evaluate work and provide technical assistance. 6.
