*Job Role : SQL Server DBA*
*Duration : 6 months Contract*
*Location : Virgina*

*Required Skills/Experience:*

   - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
   - Minimum 5 years of Microsoft SQL Server experience
   - Knowledge of SQL Server 2005, 2008 - relational database development
   using SQL Scripting
   - Experience with SQL Server tuning and optimization, Database
   Administration, Database Tuning, Database Management, Database Security
   - Full software development lifecycle experience - particularly if in an
   agile development environment
   - Experience in working with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and
   Extract, Transform, and Loading (ETL) techniques
   - Experience with ERWin Data Modeling tool
   - Possess strong problem solving skills and customer service attitude and
   focus.  Be able to follow-up with managers, peers, and customers on all
   projects and efforts.
   - Good interpersonal, written, oral communication skills
   - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
   - Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) or Microsoft
   Certified IT Professional in Database Administration is a plus
   - Familiarity with query plans and performance tuning of large databases
   - Experience deploying/migrating SQL Server databases in an installable
   product
   - Candidate must have advanced knowledge of tSQL
   - Average of 6 years implementation and planning experience in two or
   more areas of technology or application specialization.
   - Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, remain flexible,
   meet deadlines
   - Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate
   with people at all levels, strong interpersonal skills, and superior
   organizational skills
   - Excellent customer service and teamwork skills required
   - Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends in support of special
   requests
   - Must be able to track and report progress on a weekly basis to
   Technical Lead
   - Experience working in a high-stress, fast-paced, detail oriented
   environment
   - Must be able to juggle multiple competing deadlines
   - Must be able to function as the technical lead on small projects or
   portions of larger projects
   - Experience solving problems to develop recommendations for business
   solutions or technical applications
   - Must have experience working with minimal supervision of managers,
   leads and assists junior consultants in resolving routine problems, and is
   capable of resolving non-routine problems
   - Understand and be able to review the technical content prepared by
   junior consultants for accuracy
   - Applies technical expertise to support the development of the
   technology architecture and the total system solution
