*Role: Ab Initio / Metadata Hub - Lead/Sr Developer* *Location: **Charlotte, NC* *Contract Position* *Total IT experience - 8 Years* **Need Visa Copy for sure during submission* *Job Description:* · Experience as *Ab Initio Lead/Sr. Developer for 4+ years *minimum · Experience in *Ab Initio Metadata Hub Developer for 1+ years *minimum · Candidate should have strong Data Warehousing / BI background / SQL knowledge. · Candidates with good Experience in Telecom/Cable Domain will be given preference · Candidate should have strong Unix shell scripting knowledge · Candidate should be flexible in working onshore/offshore model. · Supports multiple production and development environments as required by optimizing performance Ab Initio tools and services, resolving production problems and providing timely follow-up on problem and reports. · Participates in the version control, service patch implementation and support of all client/server components of the Ab Initio ecosystem in close partnership with infrastructure and the user community. Acts as a liaison with ITS Solutions Development teams. · Works on multiple projects as an EDW tools technical subject matter expert, participating when necessary in all phases of the project development lifecycle. · Provides technical expertise and direction for the strategic and tactical development of an EDW Toolset and assists with the establishment of strategic architecture and infrastructure for the enterprise data warehouse and BI tools. · Participates in prototyping efforts, ensuring functional coordination of all client/server layers. · Assists team members in technical issue resolution. · Strong SQL skills · Develops standards, policies and procedures for EDW tools and utilities. · Strong Communication Skills · Need to carry laptop for work at client location.
