This developer will need to design, develop and deploy components. As much as 50% of their time will be spent on support and require interaction with the business side, so excellent communications skills are critical – particularly the ability to *translate complex technical concepts into business terms*, and to understand requirements and produce a technical specification or diagram. Additionally, production support, and *project start-to-finish experience are required*. Skills and experience for the position include the following: 5+ years experience in application design and development in Oracle database and J2EE applications 5+ years experience with WebSphere-based application development 5+ years experience with Oracle; MS Access experience would also be helpful 5+ years experience in WSAD or RAD 5+ years experienced with designs and the issues presented by applications that cross multiple platforms (mainframe, client server, web) Strong interpersonal skills.
