Job Description

:

Responsible for application and systems architecture for several mid to
large size call center projects, which includes creating and/or approving
design deliverables for said projects.  Responsible for ensuring
integration/interoperability between call center systems continues to
function as designed as new requirements and needed functionality is
introduced into the various systems.  Helps define design standards and
works closely with the development team to ensure design standards are being
followed.  

 

        

Relevant Experience (Yrs) 

:

7+ Years

        

 

 

 

        

Experience Required

 

Must Have

- 5 years experience in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 or .NET.

- 2-3 years experience with Avaya Interaction Center 6.1.4 or 7.2
design/development

- Experience working with Avaya Voice Portal 4.0

- 2-3 years experience in Java/J2EE design/development

- Experience in creating detailed design documents for large scale, complex
projects.

- Experience communicating both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups)
and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to all levels of
employees and with other departments.

- Experience using analytical skills, tools and techniques to investigate
information and to draw conclusions.

- UML design experience

- Database design and ETL experience

 

Like to have

- Avaya PBX CM 5.2 experience or knowledge.

- Avaya CMS r15 experience or knowledge.

- Understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles.

- Understanding of PHP 5 and MySQL

- Basic understanding of VoIP technology and concepts.

- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Struts, or Nuance

 

 

        

Roles & Responsibilities

:

- Will provide design input/oversight for mid to large scale call center
projects primarily around the Avaya Interaction Center technology.

- Work closely with the development team to create design standards that
will be followed for each project.

- Provides guidance in the logical and physical design of call center
applications and ensures design is consistent and well integrated with
existing conceptual, logical and physical application architectures.

- Provide support in researching and evaluating new technologies, products
and solutions.

- Assist in application portfolio management, standards development,
maintenance and governance.

- Create and give presentations on the future architectural strategy

Qualification 

:

 Bachelor's degree required with a emphasis in computer science preferred.
