DBA - SQL Server =========================== Expertise in SQL 2005 Migration Assess the existing delivery process and recommending opportunities of improvement. Bring In DBA Best Practices Should have Knowledge of Data Dictionary tables. Good Communication Skills for Interacting with Application Teams. Monitor Database Growth, Tablespace Growth. Debug SQL Code, Proficient in Writing Procedures, Functions, Triggers. Interact with Customer on daily basis. Understand requirements. Build and test the code applying Config Manangement techniques. Documentation. Good and effective communication skills, especially in direct client facing environment. Have good knowledge of the ITIL process Profile: Expertise in SQL 2005 Migration Responsible for planning, tracking & communication of requests received from the customer Assess the existing delivery process and recommending opportunities of improvement. In-Depth Knowledge of Performance Tuning of SQL Server Should be able to Analyze Complex Queries. Should have Knowledge of Data Dictionary tables. Monitor Database Growth, Tablespace Growth. Debug SQL Code, Proficient in Writing Procedures, Functions, Triggers. Skills: Windows: Good working knowledge on Windows OS DBA : SQL 2000, 2003 Knowledge of Unix is desirable Key skills required: Good experience in routine administration of database servers Proactive administration and ensuring maximum uptime of servers Good working knowledge on writing complex queries and fine tuning them for faster query and thereby desired results Corodinate with all other internal teams aiding in project or moderation of systems solution architecture. ================== DURATION : 6 MONTHS LOCATION : DALLAS, TX Please respond with Resume, Rate and Phone numbers of the Consultant.
