Position: Senior Quality Analyst Location: Tampa, Florida. Duration: 12 months** *Interview: Phone hire* local consultant PREFERRED *Senior Quality Analyst- MINIMUM 8 Year * *Experience in/with:* - Developing, resolving problems with, maintaining and executing test plans and scripts for large sized projects - Reviewing and evaluating business requirements and technical design documents researching, identifying and resolving problems - Developing re-usable documentation - Analyzing test results for validity and correctness - utilizing PC software applications (e.g. Windows, Word Processing, Spreadsheets) testing applications on multiple platforms - Automated testing tools, methodologies and defect tracking systems *Technical Skills* - operating systems (e.g. OS/2, Windows) - composing SQL queries - Relational database (DB2, SQL Server) - industry technology standards - testing tools, techniques and methodologies - structured quality control standards, procedures and test processes - ability to evaluate large sized systems and understand the interdependencies between components - communicate clearly about technical topics - interact effectively with representatives of various business units - Learn new processes and tools quickly *Basic Function Responsibilities* - Serves as a team member representing the software certification and testing interests of one or more business units for medium to large projects - Assists in identifying project objectives, validating detailed business requirements and evaluating alternatives - Assist in the development of quality standard test plans, test cases and automated scripts - Execute scheduled groups of automated scripts using Mercury - Analyzes, documents and resolves problems found in system testing - Provides accountability to customers for accuracy and thoroughness of system testing and software certification tasks - Assists to define project scope and resource assignment as related to test/quality control activities for medium to large projects - Develops work plan estimates for moderately complex tasks and ensures that project remains within estimates - Adheres to and supports all Auto Club Group Quality - Control standards, policies and procedures.
