A business analyst will need to be able to learn and understand the business processes within Investments, Risk, and Marketing and apply that knowledge to OFI technology. Ultimately, the business analyst team will represent the business' interest on all technology and business process related efforts. Mid-Level business analyst to work on historical data project. Must have experience analyzing data, looking for historic data trends, and building data queries. o Provide project level analysis - producing required project analysis documentation (requirements, use cases, current and future state analysis) o Facilitate team and client meetings effectively to gather and document requirements, drive user feedback and QA testing to completion of project o Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements, and ensure the technical solution meets the business needs o Collaborates with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large epic stories into user stories and acceptance criteria that can be understood and approved by members of the scrum team Contract duration approximately 6 months with possibility of extension. Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: o At least 3-5 years of experience in the technology or financial services industry o Ability to prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately o Experience working with security master data, such as index data, prices, identifiers, yields, etc. o Data analysis and business intelligence skills - proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and reporting o Understanding of typical data flows through IT infrastructure and SDLC o Very strong oral and written communication skills o Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills o Self-motivator with great attention to detail and follow through o Experience with project management methodology such as Agile is a plus.
