Below is the description to a need at the client. These are all technical
roles. Need at least 4 years experience.
*Financials 8.9* is a must. PeopleSoft Application designer, Peoplecode, App
Engine, Peopletools *8.48* are a must. *Strong Communicators* is a must.
Please submit at best rate and include location, full name and contact
information. Duration is expected to be 6 months.
Enhancements are needed for the PeopleSoft Financials application currently
implemented at the Client. The position requires intermediate to expert
level PeopleSoft technical skills ranging from analysis and design to coding
and unit testing. Depending on the technical assignment, the position may
require PeopleSoft patch analysis, technical customizations and/or
recommendation for removals of modifications.
Work in partnership with the Office of Information Technology Business
Analysts and other University staff, to meet business requirements, while
taking into consideration industry best practices for PeopleSoft
development.
Expected Deliverables:
- Complete assigned technical design work in allotted time.
- Complete assigned development work in allotted time.
- Complete assigned unit test plans and unit testing in allotted
time.
- Complete weekly status reports.
- Communicate any issues with design, build, or testing in a timely
manner.
- Essential Skills:
- PeopleSoft development experience within Financials 8.9 or higher
- PeopleSoft Application designer, Peoplecode, App Engine,
Peopletools 8.4x,
Preferred Skills
- Experienced in PeopleSoft Implementations in Government or Education
- Modules: eProcurement, Purchasing, AP, AR, Asset Management, GL,
Commitment Control, Grants/Projects/Contracts
- XML Publisher, Crystal, nVision, App Messaging, Integration
Broker, PeopleSoft Workflow, PeopleSoft Security, Oracle 10g
- Broad background in reporting within PeopleSoft Financials
- Knowledgeable of best practices for using all the reporting tools
available, e.g. nVision, XML Publisher, Crystal, SQR etc.;
Expert level hands on experience and knowledge of the reporting tools, to
make reliable recommendations.
