·         Infrastructure Architect role will focus on *cloud architecture.*
This role will work with other engineers on the team and collaborate with
technical partners. This role is mostly focused on “heavy lifting” and not
solutioning.

·         Skills – Architecture-level skill set with a broad technical
background (*infrastructure like servers, storage, network* connectivity)
with an overlay of implementing that background in a cloud model. Requires
design skills.

·         High-interest candidates include those who have worked with *public
cloud providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Rackspace,
etc.), have worked with automation tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, etc.), and/or
have V-cloud automation center experience (e.g, VMware/Vcap*).



*Senior Infrastructure Architect*

The Senior Infrastructure Architect works with cross-functional teams to
support strategies that will guide the development of IT capabilities;
works with infrastructure domain partners to create standardized Services
to be used as building blocks when constructing solutions with application
team partners; and brings deep experience in virtualization technologies
for servers, storage, and networks.

·         Creates IT architecture designs as either a solution or domain
architecture (e.g., infrastructure) to address business projects,
translating user requirements to solutions

·         Researches, designs and develops solutions, applying hardware
engineering and software design theories, principles and practices

·         Develops multiple solution alternatives based upon an
understanding of the key requirements

·         Enhances and utilizes enterprise and solution architecture
standards documents to produce IT architecture solutions

·         Develops non-functional requirements

·         Applies the ITG engagement model and Systems Delivery Life Cycle
best practices to ensure proper level of involvement in solution
architecture engagement

·         Asks questions to clarify requirements and performs solution
analysis in response to coaching and guidance from lead architects,
principals, and managers

·         Facilitates, organizes, and/or participates in architecture
reviews as needed

·         Partners with the business to understand needs and explain
architecture, architectural options, relevance to the business, and

Guidewire OR Claims/Billing/Policy center experience. Our client is looking
for a *Guidewire Integration Specialist*. This is NOT a pure Developer
role, rather it is more focused *on Project Management and Business
Analysis* with some development involved.



These candidates MUST be able to *COMMUNICATE CLEARLY* and affectively
about their skills and past experience.

Experience within the *INSURANCE* field with *GOSU* (language) would be
IDEAL.

*Recap Guidewire project:*

Implementation has been completed and the system is in production for one
line of business, Property.

We are now in the second phase of the project and that consist of moving
the Auto Systems line of business into Guidewire 7.0 Claims Center.  Target
date for moving Auto Systems data into Production is July.  The next phase
after the Auto System has proven to be stable we are targeting August to
cut over 1 Branch location live.  Thereafter if everything is working well
the remaining 94 Branch offices will be cut over to the Guidewire systems
by the end of 2015.



·         Architect, lead, design and develop integrations on the AO
Guidewire Claim Center Implementation project that may include the
following activities:

·         Facilitate requirements, analysis and design discussions
surrounding assigned integration tracks with other team members and subject
matter experts

·         Analyze and estimate integration design and development effort

·         Design and document integrations and integration components

·         Lead, manage and assign tasks for team members as needed to
fulfill integration track responsibilities

·         Develop and unit test integration components

·         Leverage established frameworks and best-practices, while
continuing to promote continuous improvement and alternatives where
appropriate

The manager has made the below changes to the job description. Also, he did
want me to reiterate that Ruby experience is a must, and any Ruby on Rails
experience is a nice to have, but not required.
