*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * Job Title: Cobol Programmer w/IMS Location: Salem, OR Duration: 6 months Direct Client Position The client is looking to hire a Programmer to provide daily programming support and updates for the Mainframe Payroll and Accounting Systems. The contractor must have a minimum of 4 years experience in COBOL programming with a solid understanding of CICS, DB2, IMS VSAM and Easytriee Plus. The contractor will be expected to work onsite, in Salem, Oregon, Monday-Friday from 8AM to 5PM. Some of the duties will be reviewing batch reports and making corrections or updates to the payroll and financial systems. There will also be changes made based on business requirements and mandated by legislation. Special consideration will be given for experience in governmental or large company mainframe systems.
