Does the resource have at least 10 years of experience supporting various flavors of Unix (see Skill requirements)? *Description Of Services:* Senior UNIX Analyst : Assist in documentation, migration, and platform conversion while also supplementing the team for day-to-day operations and participation in client's on-call rotation for support. The responsibilities for the Senior UNIX Analyst include (but not limited to): Assist in managing HP/UX, AIX, and Linux Server environment performing day to day operations and maintenance/upkeep activities. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation (once every X weeks) for incident escalations and support work. Lead planning, design, and execution of HP/UX environment migration from 3rd party data center to client data centers in Springdale, AR and Dakota Dunes, SD. Perform operational support utilizing Remedy ticketing system, process ticket queues, and respond to automated incidents, service requests, and respond to outages. Perform primary support functions for HP/UX environment for duration of contract. Perform knowledge transfer activities with third party service provider and generate support documentation as part of transition to client support team. Perform cross training with client TEAM members on HP/UX technology for secondary and tertiary support personnel.
