Serve as a lead technical member of a development team and interact with client and internal teams. 2. Design and construct ETL processes to aggregate, cleanse and load data across enterprise applications. 3. Work with the business team closely to identify the requirements. 4. Work with other skilled team members to develop software solutions that meet user expectations. 5. Effectively manage daily tasks to meet key deliverables within the software development lifecycle. 30% Participates in meetings with project managers, technical support, and clients to identify and specify system requirements and processes improvements 40% Perform DataStage development as per the specifications. 20% Assists resources in providing alternative solutions and recommending the best solution based upon fact discovery and management 10% leads the team to make sure that the project tasks are on time and on budget **** Specialized/Practical Knowledge: * Requires 8 + years strong IBM DataStage experience on Linux platform (Sr Level Position) Prefers experience with UNIX scripting Must have Oracle knowledge for performance tuning and Netezza knowledge for data loading Should have experience with Customer master or Master data Management. Experience with Salesforce .com would be a plus Experience with Change Data Capture Experience with Metadata Management Requires Strong IBM Datastage architecture skills Full functional knowledge of ETL solutions for legacy systems *Skills*: IBM DataStage 8.5 Server and Enterprise Edition Oracle PL/SQL UNIX Shell Scripting Strong Documentation Skills Netezza experience with DataStage toolset. **** Management Skill: * Participates in programs or processes Assists with program/process administration * * **** Interaction: * Contact with peers and direct supervisor.
