*Position: EDI Consultant * *Location: Glendale, CA * *Duration: 2+month* Client is looking for an onsite contract techno-functional EDI analyst to assist with their direct delivery trading partner setup at their office. The analyst must have at least 7 years of experience in SAP with specific experiences in the following EDI message types 810(INVOICE) 880 (GROCERY INVOICE), 820 (PAYMENT REMITTANCE ADVICE), 823 (LOCKBOX), 850 (PO), 875 (GROCERY PO) and a very good understanding of the Order to Cash including FEDI process in which these EDI messages are based off. The analyst must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, along with a positive work attitude and strong self-motivation to work independently and as well as in a team. *Roles & Responsibilities:* • Review, analyze, design, program, modify, develop and implement business to business interfaces and products within the enterprise resource planning system. • Assist in day to day operations of the EDI software and help in resolving issues that occur when EDI transactions fail. • Convert project specifications and procedures to detailed design documents, write code and complete programming and testing of systems and applications. • Deliver a high quality product on time, meeting or exceeding the product requirements and be a practitioner of full software development lifecycle including requirements walkthrough, specification, documentation, testing, release and maintenance of new and existing products. • Strong ability in defining test scenarios, test cases and developing test strategies for EDI for all phases of testing unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing. Technical Skills • EDI messages 810(INVOICE) 880 (GROCERY INVOICE), 820 (PAYMENT REMITTANCE ADVICE), 823 (LOCKBOX), 850 (PO), 875 (GROCERY PO) • Good understanding of SAP SD Order to cash process, tables, fields, and transaction codes • Experience working with EDI standards (e.g., ASC X12, NSF, HL7) and various Idoc types with knowledge of the following areas(Message types, Basic types, message control, partner profiles, process codes, ports, IDOC extension, segments, generation, background processing, testing and trouble shooting of IDOCS). • Advanced knowledge of mapping and translation tools (Mercator and Harbinger) • Experience in application development using ABAP/4 in all phases of software development lifecycle from business blue print, functional and technical specification design, development, testing and go live support with specific knowledge on the following(User-Exits, BADIs, RFCs, BAPIs, Interfaces) Regards *Mayank* 978-558-4666 x 103 *may...@teknavigators.com* <may...@teknavigators.com> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
