We are looking for a talented, highly motivated Quality Automation 
Developer to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment. As a Quality 
Automation Developer at FindLaw, you will be a member of a global team that 
is responsible for software quality testing on a variety of applications. 
Your primary responsibilities will be to complete hands-on automation 
coding using QTP, which will allow us to accelerate automation and increase 
automated regression test coverage across all FindLaw systems. This role 
will also identify and document regression/smoke tests to be automated and 
will provide training to existing QA staff on implementing automation going 
forward. 
 
*Key Responsibilities*

Identifies, documents and prioritizes smoke test cases to be automated 
Identifies, documents and prioritizes regression test cases to be automated 
Automates documented smoke and regression test cases, using QTP 
May need to automate some portions of smoke tests using additional 
web-based tools 
Partners with Quality Automation Lead(s) to understand Automation strategy, 
approach and best practices 
Ensures automation efforts adhere to overall Automation strategy, approach 
and best practices 
Executes smoke and regression test cases during release cycles 
Provides metrics upon execution of smoke and regression suites 
Trains existing full-time FindLaw QA members how to automate using QTP tool 
 
*Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills* 
*Bachelor’s degree* in Computer Science or related field 
*5+ years of software testing and/or software* development experience 
working with various technologies including distributed Internet 
technologies (Java/J2EE, relational databases, XML, web services, etc.) 
*2+ years of experience automating tests using QTP* 
Experience 
*with vb scripting, HTML and Java *Working experience or exposure to any 
automation framework (*Key word driven/Data Driven/Hybrid etc*) 
Proven experience in test planning and test case development 
Knowledge of *Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)* 
Strong technical aptitude and experience with the software tools and 
techniques used in automated testing 
Experience working across multiple geographic locations and cultures 
Good inter-team communication with the ability to influence and build solid 
relationships with team members 
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
