Position: SOA Administrator Location: Pittsburgh, PA Duration : 2 year contract Interview Process: Initial Phone Screen, Face-to-face Overview: Candidate will be responsible for: · Working with a small team of SOA Administrators to provide 24x7 support of multiple installations of Oracle SOA Suite 11g PS6 installed on Red Hat Linux v5 · Installing, upgrading, patching, and troubleshooting Oracle SOA Suite, WebLogic and related components · Working with other SOA Admins, SOA Developers, DBAs, Oracle Support and Linux Admins to support production and project environments · Creating change control and other documentation to aid in support of these products · Supporting other 3rd party software installed on Windows or Linux servers as necessary AS IS THE NATURE OF TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SOME OFF-HOURS AND ON-CALL WORK IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION (IF NON-LOCAL, MUST RELOCATE TO PITTSBURGH,PA FOR CONTRACT DURATION) Candidate Qualifications: College degree: · Bachelors preferred Years of work experience: · 3+ years preferred Technical Skills Required: · Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience supporting Oracle SOA Suite 11g · Minimum of 2 (two) years of administering Oracle WebLogic application servers · Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience supporting software installed on Linux or Unix Servers Additional Skills/Qualities not required but would be a plus: · Experience with Oracle Grid, OSB or BPEL · Experience with SQL, korn, shell, python, ant and Linux scripting · Experience working with Oracle Support and following SRs through to completion · Experience in Java programming is advantageous -- *Thanks,* *Naresh Kumar .
