Skills (ADVANCED/EXPERT): Provide Oracle DBA support for CET Project as directed by Technical Architecture Lead. Performance Tuning - Perform ongoing tuning of database instances Create and maintain databases required for DEV, TEST, DR, PROD, and other environments as directed Description: Create and maintain databases required for DEV, TEST, DR, PROD, and other environments as directed Backup and restore databases (e.g. hot/cold, active clone, flashback, etc.) Execute post-clone DB procedures for CET Applications Perform ongoing tuning of database instances Administer database roles and security Administer database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages, and procedures Troubleshoot and support problems regarding database, applications, and development tools. Evaluate Oracle releases and tools (patches, hotfixes, versions, etc.) Proficient in PL/SQL (variables, cursors, stored procedures, parameters, triggers, exception handling, etc.) Deliverables: Process Flows Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility Participate in data conversion and data maintenance Provide best practice and industry specific solutions Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
